Holly Springs Bushes Awnings Parade

Request Info

Welcome to one of North Carolina’s fastest growing cities. Appropriately named, Holly Springs started as a crossroads located near fresh water and an abundance of holly trees, where travelers would come to quench their thirst. Now residents and visitors can enjoy the town’s popular craft breweries, including Carolina Brewing Company and Bombshell Beer Company, one of the first female-owned breweries in North Carolina.

Holly Springs has more than doubled in population since 2000.  The town has experienced growth in the population partly due to an increase in nearby towns Cary and Apex. Downtown Holly Springs comes to life at the Downtown Village District.  Christmas time is always special with the Main Street Parade, but also catch the Holly Springs Farmers Market and the Holly Springs Cultural Center.

If you crave an artistic experience, the Holly Springs Cultural Center (in the heart of Holly Springs) offers local theater, performances, and visual arts. The Center’s annual Community Arts Festival happens in late January. Holly Springs also offers the producers-only Farmers Market, which provides farm-fresh produce and products.

Holly Springs Towne Center has everything you need.  Located just off Hwy 55, you can catch a movie, get your retail shopping done, and grab a bite for date night. While on the topic of food, local favorites include the Acme Pizza Company (we recommend the deep-dish), Kobe Hibachi & Sushi (try their California Roll), and Bass Lake Draft House (where they serve delicious, juicy burgers and cold beer).

Take in a ballgame at the newly built Ting Park representing the Holly Springs Salamanders.  Ting Park is Holly Spring’s premiere athletic complex hosting many athletic and community events each year.

Founded by pro BMX rider and competitor Daniel Dhers, his Action Sports Complex here in Holly Springs is the largest family-oriented, year-round, action sports facility in the world with more than 37,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor riding terrain. This large facility includes a beginner area, pump tracks, a foam pit, and viewing areas. Instructions areas are available, too.

Those seeking other great outdoors adventure should visit Bass Lake Park, which features a fully stocked 54-acre lake that is perfect for fishing enthusiasts. Bordering Bass Lake, you can take a relaxing walk or invigorating run along the greenway of Holly Springs. It is home to many different species of native plants and animals.
